The initial reasons for commissioning this company was due to the assurance that we would receive personal attention to our specific requirements. We have found this promise to have been honoured. We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending B.S. Partnership as consultants for the attainment and maintenance of International Standards.-Omega Diagnostics

Changes required for the New Quality Standard

Well the good news is the new standard does not introduce any new requirements! It is aimed at clarifying the existing Standard and also bringing it further into line with others such as ISO 14001:2004.

Any organisation with an existing ISO 9001:2000 Certificate will be able to transfer to the 2008 Standard after a satisfactory Certification Audit or Surveillance Visit.

There is also a two year transition period so you do not have to make the changes immediately. However we would suggest to wait until just before your next internal audit to change any references in existing documentation to the latest version. This should mean you have a simple (and cheap!) transfer and you new certificate should be to the new ISO 9001:2008 Standard.
